I have been a general nutrition consultant for many years. I’ve preached about the benefits of a low glycemic eating lifestyle, educated about the protein/carbs/healthy fats ratio, and ranted about excellent water intake, getting enough sleep, and taking the time to recharge with fun activities with friends and family. While periodic consultation is great, it allows for shades of gray to operate within, making long-term lifestyle changes possibly slow and sometimes nonexistent.
